Kid-toucher websites dot com

The internet is capable of two things simultaneously: it can make me feel connected and informed, and it can also make me feel completely neurotic. It's also hard to be a parent. Parenting in the information age? That much harder. Sometimes I wonder if the worry it gives me outweighs the benefits. I talk about it this week with some of the other ladies over at Momversation.

The Information Age sometimes should be called the Misinformation Age. I think the majority of the content is legit and highly useful, but I admit I have self-diagnosed and scared myself on WebMD.

I'm glad to see you on Momversation, I think you're a great addition.

Hilarious..but true. It is really easy to get all hypochondriac with all the information that is available..that we don't know how to rightly interpret. With all of it's downsides..I still love the internet. When my kids are old enough to be on the computer online..they will be doing so with parental supervision. Period.
