I am still working to restore my archives and other features of this website which I lost after the Big Server Crash of April. All my past posts will be back up, including comments.

I will not write about your products so don't ask unless your product is so mega-awesome that I cannot refuse, then perhaps we can work something out. For reference, dryer sheets are not mega awesome. I am, however, partial to local artisans.

Due to the amount of pitches I receive everyday, I've created these short guidelines as to my flexibility regarding pitches for products and services:

Mamalogues Guidelines for Product or Service Consideration

 

-         Product or service must be relative to my content.

 

-         I will not put up free widgets or graphics for you. That's called an advertisement and my space is not free. If you would like to place an ad on my website we may be able to work something out.

 

-         I do not do PSAs.

 

-         Do not barrage me with press releases. I ignore them. This is a personal website, not a newspaper.

 

-         Do not ask me to interview your client. See the above.

 

-         Be honest.

 

-         Swag will get you most anywhere.

 

There are some products that I prefer to discover on my own. These include any books, music, television, film, food, or household products. I will not do reviews or any mentions of anything in those genres for anyone other than myself, so please do not ask.
